Honoring the spirit of the Stonewall Uprising and Compton Cafeteria Riots, we are celebrating national Pride month by hosting a queer liberation themed art show and open mic.
All art pieces or spoken word will relate to this theme. We honor those who have fought and died for our liberation, and honor those continuing that fight every single day. Submissions are open to members of the LGBTQ community.
This event will be a potluck. Some snacks will be provided but we ask that those that are able, bring either a small snack, or something to drink to share. If you choose to bring something, please label the ingredients clearly.
This show is an all ages, free event.
The Brown Building is a wheelchair accessible space. As of right now we do not have ASL interpreters available but are working to change that.
