Makers Market & Clothing Swap at The Brown Building

  • The Brown Building 4133 Poplar St San Diego, CA 92105 (map)

This is a free, all ages event! There will be a clothing swap outside and a Makers Market inside the building. Come for the clothes and crafts and enjoy the snacks, coloring books, music and positive queer community feels, too!

Our monthly Makers Market has local artists and craftspeople who share their amazing creations. Find treasures for you and your loved ones. Support small businesses and the queer community space where the event is being held. All table fees and donations for the evening will go to The Brown Building!

The clothing swap will have a wide range of sizes, including lots of plus sized items! No need to give clothes to get clothes (more like a free thrift store). This is all about loving your body and wearing what makes you feel amazing. So if you don't like it, don't wear it, you don't need it! It's time for a wardrobe upgrade. All left over clothes will be donated.

Contact Bridget Kolozvary via email b@bookpaperflowers.com if you are interested in being a vendor, volunteer or if you have a recommendation for where to donate the left over clothes to.

Accessibility:
The Brown Building has accessible parking directly in front of the building and a bus stop just across the street. The City Heights Circulator #965 can be picked up at the I15 transit plaza at University Avenue.
